Monday again, work again
Sorri for not updating on fri n sat, need 2 relax n rest. Friday did nothing, Saturday play games, Sunday eat Mee Rebus. Den Monday again. Haiz. Never mind, still got labour day holiday (also Dad's birthday, dunno what to buy for him XP) and there might be AMD shutdown for the rest of the week, meaning no need 2 go to work!! lol. Hope lor...

The fourth day

Went to database centre and it was darn cold. Nice servers though. Anyway, still rotting but an upgraded version, in front of com. Chatted a lot with friends and den go home. That's all. Never really appreciate TGIF, till when I am working. Looking forward 2 labour day holiday.

Third day

Still sian to read stuff and do nothing. At least i finally got my own PC at the office, but it had connection issues, meaning u cannot login and use the com. So what the hell is it for then?? 'Bai Mei'? (Put for showing-sake) Anyway, got a security briefing and plan a bit of the server stack. Looking forward for tomolo, going into data centre.

Well, not bad. Got to know more about the project and colleagues. Also, getting to see the database and the plan for the revemp of the server structure. Not a bad experience, but still as boring. Sian. Looking forward to tomorrow and my first pay. Lol.

First Day of work...
Well, finally over with the first long day of many long days to come. Anyway, went to AMD in Chai Chee Lane today and to be honest, we feel like ailens from outer space. Went and collected the 100+ page guidebook (A4 size) for our project and i can sleep while reading it. It was that bad. Then it got worse, went to a meeting with the people from Sun Microsystems to talk about hardware issues and got 'promoted' to project leader. Now, if i can make it work, it will be good. But if i were to fail, trust me on this, i will be dead soon. Like the Apprentice, except you don't get fired, you get your ass kicked. Oh, in case you don't know, it is the WORSE position in this line of business cuz all arrowswill be pointing at you. Also, i will be leading people with higher level of qualification and age than me. God save me!!
Right! Next day of work to go...

Health and Safety

I've never been a fan of this, let me explain
The reason why health and safety is created is to prevent people from doing stupid things and get hurt, or get themselves killed
However, fun comes from risk and doing stupid things
So, it's up to you to live longer and die unhappily or live short and die happy

Anyways, got my Basic Theory registration done and test is on May 22

Hot! Raining in the morning, den as hot as hell
If i was at home, it doesn't matter
Playing basketball with mates, den kena
Nvm, just rest will do, anyway its the weekend
Looking forward 2 somethings:
- Visiting my relatives for the 'Man Yue' (Full month)
- Might be going to Sentosa for some boat exibition or sumthing (Parents want to go one, don't ask me)

Oh ya, driving license, try to get it soon... Sian!

Qin Ming

Went to CCK early today 4 qinming, and it rained very hard. Went and pay our respects.

- Wet, wet and very wet
- Got smoke inhalation and smokey eyes when burning the joss papers cuz of the rain]
- Nearly struck by lightning
- Got cut in my leg as i was crossing a tombstone
- Got burnt by the joss sticks

What a day!
