Being a criminal...
It's just stupid, really. They are saying people whom illegally download copyrighted material is a criminal under the law. So just think about it, if a 5 year old boy were to download a Pokemon game to play on the PC, that renders him a criminal. Same goes for a murderer whom killed dozens of people. It really is that dumb.
Then, let's say lying to people. Now who has NEVER, EVER LIED before? No one! So, everyone is a crimial under the law. The auntie whom sold you the drink, the uncle whom you sell your used papers to, the boy who is playing at the void deck, all criminals.

Idiot.

Being such law-abiding citizens here in Singapore, let's talk about...

The Law

Well, it is basically a bunch of words strung together to ensure fairness and peace to each individual. But with a bunch of words, you can always play around it to make something else. Some use it for good, others use it for selfish reasons.
So here comes my point.

No matter how good the law is, no matter how thick the book of justice is, there will always be a loophole where people will take advantage of it.

I cannot understand it. Why introduce road pricing to stop traffic congestion? Well, it may deter drivers from driving the roads during peak hours, but the reason why we are on the roads is because we need to be there at that certain period of time. I mean, working hours are working hours, you cannot possibly go to work at 1AM in the morning. Unless you work as a security guard and going for your night shift. Do you think we go create traffic for the fun of it? Makes you wonder what they are there for...

Better not continue, or some unpleasant letters will pop up in my mailbox =X

Going to Japan

Well, the holidays are here, so there is a checklist to go through during the holidays

- Learn driving (Get my license by the end of this year)
- Change blog skin (MUST remember!!)
- Go Japan (Part of a cultural exchange programme org by TP, not Tokyo or Hokkaido, but Fukuoka in the southern island of Japan)
- Rest well

Went to watch Rush Hour 3 yesterday. After watching the first 2 movies, I feel that this one lacks 'kick' and feels a bit artifical. Yes, it's a good laugh, watching Jackie kick some ass and Chris talking rubbish is fine, but the story feels shallow and the way they present the story is a bit queer. But nevertheless, if you want to watch a funny and very JC movie, this is the one to watch. But if you want action and real depth in the storyline department, there is The Bourrne Utimatium, which I really want to watch.

Retro Fever

Well, went to listen some 80s song, and like the title suggests, I've got hooked.

Anyway, left one more working day, and I think it is time to summerize the SIP experience.

There is much to hate about it. The early mornings, the cramped MRT and sardine-can-packed bus, the fact that you have to work, the restrictions, the super-tight-yet-useless security, the long hours where you have nothing to do and then when you want to go home, work just pops out. There's more. You have to face the bosses face , document things like a historian, run around the office searching for people like hound dogs and get some 'Show-Stoppers'.

But you know what, I don't care. Cause you gain much more. Friendship, contact, knowledge, critical thinking, trust. Which is what really matters in life really. And I got to see a live water sprout, meet Mr Hector (not in person, but at least I saw him) and get to see life in a different perspectve.

And that sums it all up. Hate it at first, but as time goes by (I could add 'So slowly', but that is another matter), grew on to me. I know people will say 'SIP sucks and should be removed'. I agree, it does suck, but if you look at it from a different perspective, things might be different.

Anyway, what's done can't be undone, so looking forwards to my holis and big break...

Thanks to everyone at AMD for making my stay a fulfilling one.

Mixed up
Internship ending in one weeks time, but come to think of it, I initally hated it. I felt that it was redundant and that it would be better for me to use the time to build my body or do some agricultural work as the time is more flexible. However, I don't feel that way anymore. Ihave built bonds, made friends and contacts, got to know people, gained knowledge that a school can never teach and much more. But I would like to have my holidays please as I don't want to wake up at the crack of dawn and travel down in a busy train and bus. But I started to say goodbye to some of the staff there...

Really Mixed up...

Qn: Can you figure this out: 05417 (To be used as my character name in the new Max Tune 3 game)
