However, ever since this holiday started, I have not felt that happy, yet. Maybe it is because of the IT Project Show coming up at 18 March. I mean, we have finished our MP, so it should not have anything to do with us. Reluctantly, we have to participate it. I mean, let me make myself clear, I don't mind if this project were to enter the IT show or not, cuz I don't give a damn anymore. If it is in, fine. We get to showcase our projects and make ourselves a name, if that is what Mr. Chan wanted. If it is not, we can rest well in our holidays. So, if you have misunderstood me this afternoon, I will just make myself clear here. I am a bit tired and I just don't care anymore. I just don't care what the higher ups say, I don't care what other people say. I just don't give shit no more. I do what I need to do. I do what I want to do.
Too damn tired of this crapping and assing about...

Look what I found!!
Quick flashback of the mid-90s, where students in primary schools play flag erasers. First pink-slip competition this, winner takes the opponent's eraser. Ah... those where the good old days when GST was 3%, a bowl of noodles cost $1 and pocket money was 50 cents or if you are lucky, $1. Bookshops sell only books and pens and every couple of months, there will be a book fair in the canteen where you can buy your storybooks and comics. Come to think of it, I am about to graduate from poly education in 3 days, feels old and time flies huh?

The limit of tolerance...
Ever since I understand the fact that people can lose their temper, I have wondered what is my limit of tolerance. From young, I was very hot tempered. Easy to flare up, no control, just like a wild bull. Things got a bit cooler when I entered Secondary School due to some mishaps which I will not elaborate. In polytechnic, I was pretty chilled, a couple of things that might cause some upstir, some displeasure, some swearing. But, when the system plays down on you hard on the FUCKING LAST SEMESTER, things hits boiling point.
Here's the situation, we got a Major Project to do. Fine, which poly student doesn't? Then add a couple of papers at the end of the semester to the mix, still quite OK. I mean, besides Singapore Polytechnic, which poly in Singapore doesn't gives examinations to students during their Major Project semester? And Nanyang Polytechnic, and Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and Republic Polytechnic. OK, papers and MP mixed up, let's top it up with an incomprehensive and ridiculous time table for the students and not much meeting time for the students. Insanely lousy computers, I mean, Business schools have much better computers than IT schools? How the fuck's fair is that?? Temperature started raising a bit, but still acceptable, it's summer!
Right, add some pepper to the mix, with... a lousy and monotonous lecturer, Mr Chan! He is a star, certainly worth recognizing, did gave us some help, must be honest and fair, and that's about it! No motivation, no let and give, no understanding of the students, at all, no praise, no nothing! How could you have SUCH a supervisor? How?? It certainly is a puzzle. Plus, he never understood our project in the first place, so WHY GIVE US A FUCKING SUPERVISOR WHO DOES NOT FUCKING KNOW OUR PROJECT AND DOES NOT GIVE US MOTIVATION TO WORK?? When we say that the school computers are lousy and virus infected, and we cannot test it using the school's desktop to test, I FUCKING MEAN IT!! IF YOU WANT TO USE THE SCHOOL'S DESKTOP TO TEST IT, DOING IT YOUR-FUCKING-SELF!! Mr Yap is the obvious choice, but since he has left for further studies, it is not possible. I respect personal decisions. Not like the school.
Anyway, back to the mixture, include other projects of other subjects into the mix. We have 4 utterly useless and repetitive other subjects, so 4 projects running in concurrent with out MP. Right, up to Singapore's typical hot day. A bit uncomfortable, but could still bear it. Christmas and Chinese New Year doing MP is never heard of, and TP thought it was a good idea. Well, MWC to be specific. Then, after all this finishes, right now, they think it is a good idea to put it in the Project Show, and informed us, this week, while busy studying for the papers, that some Dr. Lim wants to see our projects and select it for the project show. And changes the time slot like breathing air. IF HE WANTS TO SEE THE PROJECTS, HE CAN FUCKING COME AND VIEW THEM LAST WEEK! WE ARE AS BUSY AS YOUR FUCKING SCHEDULE!! IF YOU SAY "WHY ARE YOUR SCHEDULES SO BUSY?", IT'S YOUR FUCKING FAULT FOR GIVING US FUCKING EXAMS DURING FUCKING MP. YOU THINK A STUDENT LIFE IS FUN?? FUCK IT'S NOT! DON'T THINK THAT YOU HAVE BEEN WORKING IN THE US MEANS THAT YOU HAVE THE HIGHER RIGHT! YOUR ENGLISH IS SO BAD, MY PRIMARY SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHER WOULD HAVE NOT PASSED YOU. SO STOP THE FUCKING FAKE ACCENT AND THAT FUCKING FAKE LOOK!!
Presentation, shoot some fucking idiot questions. WE HAVE NOT REALLY FINISH THE PROJECT, SO WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO MARKET A UNFINISHED PROJECT?? DON'T TELL ME YOU DO SUCH A THING!! ALSO, COMMERCIAL VALUE IS BASED ON PERSONAL JUDGMENT, SO DON'T COME ASKING SUCH FUCKING QUESTIONS IF YOU CANNOT ANSWER THEM YOURSELF!!
Then they are now asking us, 2 days from the papers, to full up a fucking long form to submit it during the papers for the project show. So if you ask me what is my limit, this is almost my limit for temper and absolute limit for being pushed around. WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU WANT THE STUDENT TO FILL UP FUCKING SILLY FORMS DURING STUDY PERIOD? IF YOU WANT PAPERS, AT LEAST GIVE US SOME FUCKING TIME TO STUDY! IT IS FUCKING YOU WHO GAVE US THE PAPERS, FUCKING YOU WHO GAVE US SUCH A HARD TIME, FUCKING YOU WHO RUIN OUR FINAL SEMESTER IN TP, AND FUCKING YOU IF THE NAME OF MWC GOES DOWN THE DRAIN AND INTO THE SEA BECAUSE OF THE THINGS I MENTION ABOVE!!!
IS THAT THE REASON WHY YOU CHANGE THE NAME 'IT SCH' TO 'IIT SCH'? FOR FUCKING FACE SAKE?? AND DON'T COME SAYING "OUR PROJECT WIN PRIZES". THAT IS BECAUSE THE JUDGES ARE PITIFUL OF THE STUDENTS AND GAVE THEM THE HONOR, NOT YOU!!
A man can be pushed, but when the limit breaks, you better be prepared to rep the consequences.

So it is my right NOT to participate in the project show, my right NOT to fill up the form, and my right NOT to get involved in this animal nonsense. Fucking philistines. AND YOU CAN'T DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!

In a mood to relax...
Well, just as the title says, I am relaxing right now. MP taking up more time than usual due to improper management of the school. So I need some time off, but I cannot stay relaxed for long as there are 2 papers next week. Friday to show some Dr. Lim some MP things, so quite unhappy about this arrangement. Why? Does it imply that we do not need to study? Does it imply that we are 'Super Students' and that we can do anything, anytime? Wish to leave TP soon, but somehow don't for different reasons. Quite vexed and just have to go through this final ring of fire be fore the show is over. Feels like being pushed around, and I do not like that.
Applied for university, so at least that is a start...

MP ending soon
Final presentation is over, just a couple of tweaks and some paperwork. Now feeling a little sense of accomplishment and a little bit happy. But graduating soon as there are just 2 more papers.
Mixed feelings.
Just need to properly format my com.
Just need to hang out more often.
Just need a chance to go back to Japan.
Just need... more time.

Well, it's been quite a while since I last wrote a post here. So here goes:
Projects being piling up like sh*t and just need time to work on it
Temasek Polytechnic life is about to be over soon,so I try to treasure it
However, it is not to be as they gave us project after project after project after... you get what I mean.
Feels like they want us to leave an impression that the last moments at TP is that you are working hard.
If you ask me what is the most memorable moment in TP, I really cannot list much.

- Japan Trip
- Friends and some good lectures I met
- Parties and outings I went
